Member for Shortland Pat Conroy and Member for Dobell Emma McBride attended the Lake Haven Medicare Urgent Care Clinic last Friday following a boost in funding to increase the clinic’s capacity and expand its services.
The Lake Haven Medicare Urgent Care Clinic has expanded its services for the local community, thanks to the Albanese Labor Government’s $8.4 million election commitment to boost funding for 12 of the busiest Medicare Urgent Care Clinics across the country.
The additional funding for the Lake Haven Medicare Urgent Care Clinic has helped deliver four new GPs and extended operating hours from 8:00 am to 10:00 pm, seven days a week.
