One of the main complaints my office receives is regarding poor mobile phone reception throughout the Shortland electorate. For years I have been fighting to secure funding and garner support from telecommunications companies to upgrade mobile phone towers in this area.

With this data, I was able to secure an election commitment that Labor will work with telecommunications companies and invest $2.25 million to improve mobile coverage in the areas of Eleebana, the Jewells and Redhead region, Lake Munmorah, and Budgewoi.
